Hello, and welcome to Brilliance with Brown, my digital portfolio. I display work samples while telling the story of my pivot into project management and the learning and development space. As many recognize, learning isn't linear, and neither is my journey, but I hope that you'll see the determination, growth, and ability in my work. 

My formal education in project management is a certification with Google (hosted by Coursera) in the Grow with Google initiative. Through that 5-month course, I learned and created artifacts that support each stage of the project management life cycle while seeing and critiquing the work samples of others. This education was applied in my most recent position as Senior Manager of Education and Engagement, as I took the initiative from the initiation phase to execution. 

Shortly after completing the Grow with Google Project Management Certification, I discovered the learning and development space. It allowed me to merge my passion for managing a project from start to finish with the creativity that I often used in teaching to create educational offerings for adults. I use this passion to create various needs for the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Talent Development and private clientele. 

Both project management and learning and development support my pillars: awareness, education, advocacy, and equity. This drives who I am.
